The "Microcosm" installation was designed and built for the 2023 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's School of Architecture commencement. The design consists of a suspended form generated from projected lines and arcs which intersect oblique planes. This produces an undulating and dynamic line which is reinforced through red die. The assembly has two parts: a milled plywood frame and the cotton cord that is threaded through these frames. The assembly was installed at the beautiful Gather Greene venue in the Hudson Valley, upstate New York.
